Terms of Service
This is an informative English translation. The Czech version is legally binding. Read the Czech version.
These terms govern the relationship between you (a prospective mortgage client) and Offgrid Labs s.r.o. as an independent consumer credit intermediary. Our service is free for you: the commission is paid by the bank where you end up taking out the loan. We are not a bank and do not provide credit ourselves, only intermediation. These terms never override a consumer's statutory rights.
01.The parties
Provider: Offgrid Labs s.r.o., company ID (IČO): 06479243, registered office Nad vodovodem 1524/45, Strašnice, 100 00 Praha 10, an independent consumer credit intermediary registered with the CNB.
Client: a natural person who uses the calculator, contacts an adviser, or applies for credit intermediation.
02.What the service covers
HypoGO provides you with:
- An online mortgage calculator: an indicative calculation of the repayment and rate
- An overview of banks and their terms, anonymously and without registration
- Connection to an adviser from your region, registered with the CNB. They compare bank offers, submit the application, and see the loan through to drawdown.
- Educational content: frequently asked questions and answers about mortgages
The specific content and terms of the loan are always set by the bank you take the loan out with. HypoGO is not a party to the loan agreement. The contracts with banks belong to the adviser, not to HypoGO. Which banks are relevant to you therefore depends on which network the adviser belongs to; you can ask them for their list of banks.
HypoGO does not provide advice under Section 85 of the Consumer Credit Act. Advice is a separate service. It includes an analysis of your financial situation and risks and a written record.
03.Price of the service
HypoGO's service is free for you. No fee for the calculator, for connecting you with an adviser, or for arranging the loan.
The bank pays a commission for the arranged loan to our adviser. Our revenue is a fee from their network, or from the adviser directly. This does not change the offer for you; the commission is a cost the bank bears to acquire a client, not an add-on to your rate. Under Section 93 of the Consumer Credit Act we will tell you the amount of the commission on request.
04.Your rights and obligations
Your rights:
- Use the calculator and comparison with no obligation and no registration
- End communication at any time with no penalty
- Ask for information about the amount of the commission (Section 93 of the Consumer Credit Act)
- Terminate the intermediation agreement at any time with no penalty
- File a complaint (see Complaints procedure)
Your obligations:
- Provide true and complete information (otherwise you are liable for any resulting damage)
- Cooperate during the loan approval process (supply documents on time)
- Inform the adviser of relevant changes (income, marital status)
05.Our obligations
- Act with professional care and in the client's best interest (Section 75 of the Consumer Credit Act)
- Provide information accurately, clearly and understandably
- Assess your creditworthiness before recommending a bank
- Disclose the commission paid by banks on request
- Keep all information confidential (a contractual obligation)
- Hold adequate professional liability insurance
06.Liability
HypoGO is liable for damage caused by a breach of an intermediary's duties under the Consumer Credit Act. For this we hold liability insurance to the extent the law requires for independent intermediaries.
We are not liable for the bank's decision to approve or reject a loan. The final decision always rests with the bank.
The figures in the calculator are indicative. The actual rate and repayment may differ depending on the bank's current terms and your creditworthiness.
07.Duration and termination
Our cooperation begins the moment you contact us (form, phone, email). It lasts until:
- A loan is arranged with a bank, or
- You withdraw your interest, or
- 6 months pass with no activity (automatic termination)

08.Governing law
These terms are governed by Czech law, in particular:
- Act No. 89/2012 Coll., the Civil Code
- Act No. 257/2016 Coll. on consumer credit
- Act No. 253/2008 Coll. on AML
- Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR)
We resolve any disputes primarily by agreement. If that is not possible, you have the right to turn to the Financial Arbitrator (Finanční arbitr ČR) (finarbitr.cz). The proceedings are free for you. Court jurisdiction: the client's general court.
